The CSI found Stevens and Brown watching the video.
“Detective Stevens. We just got word on the earring. The blood on it was Daniel Harris’s. But the skin fragments, well, they were from Richard Vandemeer.”

Brown never got to putting Sanders and his secretary together in a room. He found them in the bigger Control Room, where the hideous chair was.
Stevens arrived. They were waiting. Brown and three Uniforms making sure nothing was touched.
Brown stepped over.
“Sanders was in his office, on the laptop. His secretary, Jeyne Anderson .. That’s right, [...]
Brown almost knocked the exiting Susan over as he slammed open the door to Roly Sander’s office.
“Stevens, you gotta come see this.”
Minutes later Stevens was standing outside the house, next to the pool.
Two soggy men were pulling a very dead Mike out of the water.
Stevens started speaking to the surviving six Housemates after Roly Sanders. Over the past month five others had been evicted.

Detective Stevens looked up at the young CSI. Her face was pale.
"There’s no good sense in it, but there is a mind at work here."
Stevens continued to look around the room. He bent over and picked something up.
